Copyright & Takedown Policy
SSM Apps respects intellectual property rights and expects publishers, developers, contributors and users to do the same. This page explains how copyright owners or authorized representatives can request review, removal or disabling of access to material available through SSM Apps.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to material hosted on SSM Apps and to download or source links presented on SSM Apps pages. Some app pages may link to official developer websites, Google Play, GitHub, F-Droid or other third-party sources. A link to a third-party source does not mean SSM Apps owns or controls that external material.
Copyright and trademark ownership
Third-party app names, trademarks, logos, screenshots and product names belong to their respective owners. Editorial references are used to identify and describe the relevant software. SSM Apps does not claim ownership of third-party brands unless a page explicitly identifies an SSM Apps product.
How to submit a copyright removal request
If you believe material on SSM Apps infringes copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, email dnschangerapp@gmail.com with the subject line Copyright Takedown Request.
Please include enough information for us to review the request efficiently:
- Your full name, organization and contact email.
- The copyrighted work you believe is affected.
- The exact SSM Apps URL or URLs you want reviewed.
- A description of the allegedly infringing material.
- Evidence that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the rights holder.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or applicable law.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens after a valid request
We review notices in good faith. Depending on the facts, we may remove hosted material, disable a download link, replace a source link, correct attribution, request additional information or leave material available when the notice does not establish a valid rights claim.
Where appropriate, access may be temporarily disabled while a dispute is reviewed. We may also notify the affected publisher, developer or contributor when necessary to evaluate the request.
Counter-notices and disputes
If material you supplied was removed or disabled and you believe the request was mistaken, you may contact the same email address with the subject Copyright Counter-Notice. Include the affected URL, an explanation of why you believe removal was mistaken and evidence supporting your position. We may request additional information before restoring content.
Modified apps, forks and community builds
SSM Apps may editorially cover official apps, open-source forks, community builds and modified versions. Coverage does not mean that SSM Apps owns the underlying software or that every modification is authorized by the original developer. When redistribution or modification rights cannot be verified, SSM Apps may provide editorial information without hosting the file itself.
Repeat or abusive submissions
We may restrict accounts, submissions or sources that repeatedly provide infringing material. We may also reject notices that are fraudulent, incomplete, abusive or clearly unrelated to copyright ownership.
Important note
This policy is a practical notice-and-review process and is not legal advice. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.
