Poweramp MOD APK is a long-running Android audio search term centered on “Full Version unlocked,” Premium activation, trial removal and paid-feature access.
Poweramp is proprietary software from Poweramp Software Design (Max MP). SSM Apps does not host or link to an unverified modified Poweramp binary. This page explains the current official licensing model and the claims appearing on 2026 MOD pages.
What Poweramp MOD APK pages commonly claim
- Full Version unlocked
- Premium activated
- 15-day trial removed
- Unlocker requirement bypassed
- All DSP and Equalizer features enabled
- No license verification
These are third-party claims. Current 2026 MOD pages publish several different build numbers and even separate “activator” packages, which shows why a MOD version label alone is not a reliable authenticity signal.
Official Poweramp for Android
The official package is com.maxmpz.audioplayer. Google Play lists Poweramp Software Design (Max MP) as the developer and shows more than 50 million installs and over one million reviews.
How the official license works
Google Play states that the main Poweramp app provides a 15-day full-featured trial. Users can then purchase the Full Version through Poweramp settings or use the separate official Poweramp Full Version Unlocker.
Current official feature set
The May 2026 Play listing highlights Hi-Res output, custom DSP, Equalizer/Tone controls, AutoEq presets, DVC, internal 64-bit processing, gapless playback, visualizations, synchronized lyrics and broad format support.
Why “full version patched” claims are risky
A patched build may alter licensing checks or bundle an unofficial activator. That can break future update compatibility and makes it difficult to verify what additional code changes were made beyond the license bypass.
Privacy advantage of the official app
The current Google Play data-safety declaration says the official Poweramp app does not share data with third parties and does not collect data. That gives users a concrete baseline when comparing the official build with an unknown repackaged APK.
Signing and update risks
A third-party package signed with a different certificate may not accept Google Play updates. Users may need to uninstall the modified version before returning to the official app, which can reset settings or customizations.
App details

- Official licensing: 15-day trial + Full Version purchase/Unlocker

Bottom line
Poweramp MOD APK is still a valuable global audio keyword, but the official 15-day trial and Unlocker model should be clearly separated from third-party “Full Version patched” claims. SSM Apps covers the search intent without redistributing a cracked proprietary build.
