XRecorder Pro MOD APK searches usually target ad removal, Premium editing tools and paid recording options. However, XRecorder is an important case where several features often advertised by MOD pages are already included in the official free app.
XRecorder is proprietary software from InShot Inc. SSM Apps does not host or link to an unverified modified XRecorder binary. This page separates actual official features from Pro MOD claims.
What XRecorder Pro MOD APK pages commonly claim
- No ads
- Premium editing tools unlocked
- All recording/export settings unlocked
- Advanced live-streaming features
- Premium filters or editing assets
- No watermark
The last claim needs context: the official XRecorder listing already says it records without a watermark. It also advertises no root requirement and no recording-time limit. Those features do not require a MOD simply because a third-party page labels them Premium.
Official XRecorder for Android
The official package is videoeditor.videorecorder.screenrecorder. Google Play lists InShot Inc. as the developer and shows more than 100 million installs and over seven million reviews.
What the official app already includes
Google Play lists no watermark, no root, no recording-time limit, screenshots, gameplay recording, internal audio on supported Android versions, facecam, YouTube/RTMP live streaming and recording up to 1080p/60 FPS with adjustable bitrate.
That means users specifically searching for “XRecorder no watermark APK” can often satisfy the intent with the official application rather than an unknown modified build.
Current official status
Public app-intelligence data showed official XRecorder version 2.5.4.1 updated in September 2026. Accessible Sensor Tower data also showed around two million worldwide downloads in the previous month, with strong audiences across India, Brazil and Indonesia.
Why a Pro MOD can still create risk
A screen recorder can capture private messages, banking screens, account sessions, games, work apps and video calls. Installing a repackaged recorder from an unknown source means trusting modified code with access to some of the most sensitive content displayed on the device.
Signing and update risks
An unofficial build may be signed differently from InShot’s official package. Android may then refuse to update it from Google Play, forcing an uninstall before returning to the supported version.
App details
- Official package: videoeditor.videorecorder.screenrecorder
- Developer: InShot Inc.
- Google Play installs: 100M+
- Official no-watermark recording: Yes
- Official source: Google Play

Bottom line
XRecorder Pro MOD APK is a useful global search topic, but several commonly advertised MOD benefits—especially no watermark and unlimited recording time—already exist in the official app. SSM Apps makes that distinction clear instead of treating an unknown repackaged binary as necessary.
